I saw a tweet discussing the possibility of people (tripping or not) at raves/festivals being unwitting test subjects for subluminals at different states of consciousness. I found it an interesting rabbit-hole and worth looking at.

Just wondering, what is the goal of this? Just for science?

And why people high on psychedelics see patterns everywhere in the nature, what sober man can not see.

Is it a delirium, or it is by design?

Well I remember in my tripping days that I had such "profound" insights while on psychedelics, then I'd record them or write them down. Then when I was sober I'd look at it and think, jesus that was fucking ridiculous and super obvious, even totally uninteresting.

Just saying, psychedelics induce a state which when in the experience itself seem to be really next-level, while looking at it from a grounded perspective it doesn't really mean anything. It's all quite heady stuff. I'd say the more grounded you are the more you are able to see actual useful patterns in your self and in society as a whole.

Let's hope everyone is grounded these days cuz some crazies were made in the process and now they're making more crazies
