Is he a dead ringer look-a-like? Your guess. But he does have a whiff of the Zappa, no?

The more I listen to Peacock Tail, the more I'm sure it's fucked. It's not that BoC is a Satanist cult trying to summon a demon - that's the greatest bullshit yarn ever woven - it just sounds like a sacrifice more and more each time. These guys are sly. This is all thought during a ketamine infusion for depression, so it's easy to hallucinate that idea, until I realized I had it 15 years ago.

It wasn't as cool then. It's not very cool now. It is very intriguing to get you wondering why they were so good at constructing these types of soundscapes when nobody asked for them.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

In here is a tragedy, art thou player or audience?
Be as it may, the end doth remain:
all go on only toward death.

There is nothing which cannot become a puppet of fate
or an onlooker, peering into the cage.

^^^Now, that is the kind of puerile comedy content that we deserve more of!

For a bonus helping, don't forget that 1969 has the number '69' in it.

We only guffaw in this House of Mouse.

Appy polly loggies, I couldn't find a Cure topic to post this on so I'm doing so here.

The song transitions on The Cure's Faith are fandabidozi. The Drowning Man to Faith is something phenomenal, not to mention the pacing on the rest of the record.
Only album I can name has a better one is Entangled to Squonk on A Trick of the Tail by my beloved proggy band, Genesis.

It does sound like a bunch of infants whining at the end. I can say that now that I'm sober (drunk).

I don't care what anyone else thinks, the mid '90s to mid '00s was a fantastic time for music from a sonic perspective. Even the bad stuff at least sounded good.

The sodding handle has come off my rooms door. It's an old door so all very complicated to fix, no doubt if I was a D.I.Y man I could "do it up Luvvly Jubbly".
Now, I have to leverage it open with a screwdriver I keep on the shelf. A real pain? :?

This really reminded me of the sound and mental imagery that came with listening to Call of the West by WoV these past few days.
Music for Cowhands, Cowpokes and Cowtippers... :)

Marc, Bruce, and Chas were initially members of the punk band The Skulls so it fits. I could see both Ridgway or Prieboy singing this song :)

I only recently realized this came out the same year as CotW, I only remembered it from it's appearance in Jackass and the Jackass video game :P

Has anyone ever noticed that the font used on Echo & the Bunnymen's "Heaven Up Here" cover is the same that spotify uses?

I haven't! Spotify version is a bit thicker but it's the same font alright.

Here's another comparison somewhat related. Question is, can you see any similarities cover wise between this Bunnymen live album and the ABBA The Singles Compilation?
