This book, it's brilliant, just like the man himself.

I have been waiting for quite a while to get a copy of Finnegans Wake to follow up Ulysses, so I was unfathomably excited to finally receive on in the mail today. Then I opened it up and found out that it's a reproduction of the first edition, meaning that it copied all the typographical errors in that version that were later corrected by James Joyce. That ruined my whole day. Do yourself a favor and never, ever, ever buy any books from Penguin.

I bought the exact same publication many years ago. It's only a minor inconvienence to be fair, it's not nearly as bad as some other versions I've seen around. Have fond memories of reading it in the park, just letting it seep into my mind. Reading it out loud is amazing too. It will do strange things to your dreams.

I'd say it's more than minor since there's at least one error on almost every page of that edition.

I bought a Cocoquantus. I bought a fucking Cocoquantus. I still can't quite believe that I did. This is big. I have a feeling that this is going to have a major impact on my musical recordings.

A new smartphone and this ^. So I can finally play all the Zelda's, Donkey Kong etc on my smartphone. Let's hope I can cast it to my television as well. Else I'll just plug it in my laptop and play through a hdmi cable. Good times are coming!

A device to create bluetooth in my car via the aux-in plug. Works like a charm! Even has an amplifier built in which enhances the audio strength. Only about 35 USD too.

I really wanted one of these -

but the budget doesn't stretch that far and anyway, I drive a Defender in work every day so not too bothered.
I'm hoping, as long as it doesn't break, to do it up a bit like this (not the paint job) and try some off roading. Gripped!
