Has anyone here watched the documentary "The Social Dilemma"? I've watched it last night, really good one.

I stumbled upon this film recently and really enjoyed it. It's Russian with subtitles, but there isn't a ton of dialog. It's really atmospheric and tense. Beautifully filmed and well acted. Bonus BoC-fan feature: a sunshine recorder!

Yup. I found it on Amazon Prime Video. Check it out if you can. I'd be interested to hear your opinion, Mex.

A 15 min documentary about a guy, well, trying to contact aliens. It was a fun little ride and the soundtrack was amazing, right up BoC fan's alley I guess.

Just watched this. Superb.

This is probably my favorite space movie. Glad I was able to see in theatre back in the days. I like how the movie invites you deeper and deeper in space as you watch it. Every set piece has a distinct colour and mood influence. And the soundtrack is great! I also enjoyed the Pitt's narrative. Strangely, this movie reminds me my childhood when my father was talking to me about the space and solar system. And this movie is also about father son relationship. It is somehow feels retro for me.

The Father with Anthony Hopkins, a pretty haunting picture. Just saw it yesterday. Not going in to much details, the film basically portraits the slowly dying mind of a man, who refuses to give up on his life. Some moments are incredibly heartbreaking. And the ending, man..With that energizing Hopkins performance and I was somehow unkwonigly hoping for a happy ending. But nope, I guess this is how it happens in real life, an end of the road. Great movie!

Children of Men is a very good 2006 film about an apocalyptic future(2027) where the world colapses due to two decades of human infertility. Makes some pretty well informed predictions of the future that turned true today. Though i'm not sure if it is as underrated in the anglosphere as it is to me, so disregard this post if i'm being stupid and everyone knows about it already.

I highly recommend The Lathe of Heaven. It's a fantastic story and there's a great soundtrack by Michael Small. It is on youtube too.
