It's a bit.... er.... grey. Not that impressed so far. The colourless icons in the sidebar don't do anything for me at all.

I haven't downloaded it yet. It seems like they put out a new version of itunes every week I just ignore it.

Does the same sh*t... seems alrite with me ;]

Haven't registered for Ping yet - not too sure about that one :S

Apple are totally taking over the world atm... it's like Microsoft circa 1990... I just hope 'the age of Apple' isn't as shit as the age of Microsoft.. :o

the age of Apple.... hope not. Although I work mostly on an iMac, I'm not a huge fan of Apple. Mostly because of their arrogance towards consumers (I like to hold my phone the way I want ;)).

But back on topic, I agree with BrandNewRetro on iTunes. I like to create playlists on the fly, just drag and drop some albums/artist/songs/whatever I want (from my music library which is arranged in folders like it is on my harddisk (or from cd)) and hit play. It took me a lot of time to find a decent player for my iMac with this simple feature.... Cog rocks!

Seconded, looks like someone drew it up in 10 minutes. Not very expensive or fashionable at all, very odd.

Good, apparently I am not the only one who noticed this, and was like... "hmm...?"

Well I downloaded it. Ping seems useless but whatever. Just seems like a gimmick to get you to register for the store. All of the "recommended" people to follow are just top radio musicians no matter what your preferences are.

My problem is my mouse icon vanishing when hovering over the window quite often. :?

Looks about the same to me. I too don't care about Ping. I don't like the all gray buttons but whatever as long as it still plays music the same way.

well, i cant DL it because i'm still running tiger, which also means i cant use my new iphone 4 with my mac either. i didnt like itunes the first time i used it, but when i got an ipod years ago ( and later my mac) and i had no choice but to use it, it really grew on me. easier to use than winamp.

The only thing I honestly miss from winamp is having access to billions of skins.

Thought exactly the same. I first thought the icon was corrupted so I did a reboot...
Why don't the include some skins so the user can decide what fits best to their style?
