I watched Død snø. A scandinavian horror flick. IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME. Brain-dead/evil dead'ish.

On a less brighter note...I watched burtons Alice some time ago. Biggest disappointment ever.

I recently watched Kar Wai Wong's In the Mood for Love. The cinematography was delectable and the story uncoiled like a novel. A classy romance set in a socially conservative Hong Kong. Highly recommended, especially for all of you bleeding-heart film snobs.

Let Me In. Apparently there is also a swedish version called Let the right on in. I saw it in theaters and I really liked it.
ps-the trailers don't do it much justice.

saw this myself recently. loved it. I then found out that Glenn Beck openly says he models himself on howard beale, which provided a supplementary lol.

Watched 'Looking for Eric' this weekend, by Ken Loach; as with all Loach films, i'd say it's worth watching. Especially if you're UK-based :]

I recently watched 13 Tzameti. Love it. Apparently, Géla Babluani, the director, remade the film in English titled 13. It features Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Sam Riley, and 50 Cent. I'll reserve judgment until I've actually seen it.

Check out the original when you get a chance.

Tzameti is fantastic. The less you know about the film beforehand, the better it is. Whenever I gave out my DVD to friends of mine, I had to ask them to not look at the sleeve or any of the DVD menus as it gave too much away.

The lightbulb! :D

I went to see 'Let Me In' a while ago, loved it! That bit with the 'bag guy' in the back of the car and the two guys in the front! I was on the edge of my seat thinkin, 'FUCK!, hows he going to get outta this!!!'
Havent seen the Swedish one yet, but heard its way better! Its in HMV for like €5 or something.

Best film I have seen this year thought has to be 'Scott Pilgrim Vs The World'. That film is the bee's knee's film of the year for me! I have bought both Soundtracks, I listen to them nearly everyday too lol! Like, Nigel Godrich and Beck and Broken Social Scene on the soundtracks, EPIC! Bit obsessed with it i think.

'Did you know Pac man was going to be called Puk man......' lol

Anyone else here see Scott Pilgrim? What did you think?
