Oh, and here is my incredibly disorganized and rather odd submission for this year lol! It's honestly not quite Twoism material but I think some of you may like it? Again, congrats to all that made it! I see Saturday Index, Boreal Network, Trills, etc...should be legit!

This is the premaster so it's way low on the volume/clarity ^^

i sincerely hope you're not being serious right? i have submitted material for the past three one on twoism releases, and have only had one track make it onto a release. this does not indicate that my or anyone else's music is not worthy of being on the compilation. i'm sure that aesthetics has a particular theme for each release in which certain tracks fit better than others. as sarus mentioned earlier in this thread, my track submitted for the previous release later went on to become demo of the week on national radio. chin up and have more faith in the music you create!

Both congratulations and commiserations to where they are due.

I'm looking forward to this immensely, the other OoTs are some of my favourite mixes, you can really feel the care that is put into them.

guys, what don't you understand here? is this seriously the end of the world? what did i miss? it's just one compilation, of a series that appears to be coming out annually. try again. search out other comps. release your music on a netlabel. release it yourself.

i, like mexicola and i'm sure many others on this board, wish i was even capable of recording my music, let alone making it onto a comp like this. you guys should be proud you even tried. aesthetics has come on here twice already for this release alone to remind everyone (as was clear at the beginning and many have restated here) that any music which doesn't "make it" simply didn't fit his idea of the flow for the release. it doesn't mean it's good/bad/happy/sad/incredible/worthless. it's a compilation. many people who've been here three times longer than you don't make it sometimes. perhaps you guys could release your tracks in "random sound" somehow? i'm sure most of us would love to hear it, honestly, ok? just please stop hogging this thread with the selfish passive-aggressive posts, and be good sports, thanks.

damn, that's lame. first one i didn't get on. pfff. that's some shit, kinda glad though too, cause that's the song i wanted to feature on my new album. :D

Check out my song that didn't make it to the Volume...

in all fairness though, I've been on all of the last 3 OOT, and my wife designed volume 2's artwork so it's cool to make room for some new artists and to be not selfish.

congrats to everyone! can't wait to hear this beast!

Yeah, I've grown fond of the track I submitted, and now I can use it for a future project, perhaps... :)

Thanks for including me on the compilation; I am unfathomably grateful. Congratulations to everyone else who got included as well -- I look forward to hearing your contributions!

I would reccommend everyone who didn't get included just to keep trying, it's what I - and I imagine many, many others - did. :)

Yeh, for real- those of you who are really bummed out over not making it:

it doesn't even necessarily mean you had a bad track. In fact it was probably lovely. But- putting together a fluent, continuous mix of music at a wide range of tempos/styles/keys is no easy task. The mix is just as much a piece of art as all of the songs it contains, and I find that for many compilations you either get lucky or unlucky about how 'mixable' your track is with the other submitted tracks.

So yeh, chin up! There's always next year.

As much as I love OOT I think it may be time for me to bow out and make more space for new names in the future. What do you guys think?
another silo full / another dark dawn / bending the air / love is so small
