"beards synthesizer"

There's an emulator at the CSIRAC site...

can someone please pm me and tell me what the hell is going on? I read that the 5th code has been cracked; where was it and how was it "cracked?" too many nonsensical posts around here and I have to go to work

Very briefly:

- At 20:35 UK time Rough Trade twitted: "Wonder what this is going on opposite Rough Trade East?..." with an image showing warp logo been projected on the shop window. https://twitter.com/RoughTrade/status/3 ... 0846171136

- A video loop started and kept on going for some time. It showed what seems a desert, and then a still image showing XXXXXX/------/------/------/------/------. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZXFSngACXo

- Sound could be heard coming from inside the building. It was the jingle followed by numbers that we all know. The numbers were hardly recognizable but someone managed to record them https://soundcloud.com/cydoniac/voice-002-mp3

- Appearently, they were the same numbers of NPR. This was just about telling us the placement of the NPR sequence, since it was the only one we weren't sure about. http://www.twoism.org/forum/viewtopic.p ... 469#188469

I'll try some apophenia and put some pattern in this, stressing the thing that seem important to me and dropping the unimportant things:

clue 1: distributed on vinyl on RSD, spotted on 20th?

clue 2: surfaced on youtube, updated on 22nd - including the 'csch' title and the 'nuevas semillas'

clue 3: broadcasted on Radio1, heard on 23rd

clue 4: twoism-banner redirecting to soundcloud, happening on 25th - including 'Cosecha' hint

clue 5: live-show near RTR, shown on 26th - including a desert-video

clue 6: ...

pattern: each clue is distributed on a different medium on a different day (alternately 'analog' & 'digital' mediums)

dissonant with this pattern:
1) did we miss something on 24th?

2) what is that NPR thing? How did they get their hands on clue 5?
theory 1: is was done on purpose because they knew that on the live-show it's very hard to hear the actual numbers; so the NPR thing was broadcasted to simply help on that purpose. That's why they were not given any additional infos
theory 2: there is some leak at Warp with contact to NPR - and they took that chance

speculative predictions arising from this:
the next clue will be revealed on a digital platform on sunday or even tonight. Maybe their own website? TV seems unlikely to me, because I don't see the connection between a music label and television broadcast. What other mediums are possible?
alone alive again

Interesting on the digital/analogue pattern.

IMO the images projected opposite Rough Trade have no meaning re the codes, my personal suspicion is that it's the video from the single that will be released to promo the album. (Perhaps this song will be free/for purchase on the day of the reveal?) I don't think they or the locations depicted are relevant to cracking the code...

Has the black box in the discography section of the website always had a white border around it?

Looks a bit like a video screen.

Strangely enough, someone over at reddit already found the actual deserted location seen in the Rough Trade window-video loop. It's an abandoned gas station in California, and there's an antenna across the street. This is getting crazier!

Looking at the source code for boardsofcanada.com/discography.html
From line 41-47 there is a javascript for the flash content.

<script>
var fo = new FlashObject("discography.swf?xmlPath=discography_data.xml", "discography", "718", "594", "7", "#336699" );
fo.addParam("wmode", "transparent");
fo.write("flashcontent");
fo.allowScriptAccess("sameDomain");
</script>
</div>

Im wondering, what does actually the colour code (#336699) do? I cant see this bluish colour being applied to the site design at all? And, has it always been there? Can anybody shed some light on this.

I know this came up a long time ago when this was first discovered but it may be worth considering...
