Marcus and Michael, this has been a very exciting, fascinating, thought provoking conversation so far. Well done. I hope there's more to come, and soon. I cannot wait to hear the album in full.

What he said.

I don't want this leaked. I want it to arrive through my door and I want to listen to it for the first time in the company of other folk from here, at least while sat on the forum. It's the right thing to do.
I'll see you when the sun sets east, don't forget me.

Thank you Marcus and Mike!

I am sure your work will be as inspiring and informative as ever.

Here's hoping the new album will be politically and socially charged, as well as aesthetically pleasing.

One request: Please don't go on another near-decade hiatus. There is something not quite right in the world of music when you guys aren't present.

Yes, thank you, thank you, thank you!

I spent countless hours listening to your music and I will spend countless hours more. Your music is and always has been a rewarding experience and I'm very much looking forward to Tomorrow's Harvest.

Cheers to that!
Without music, life would be a mistake.

Agreed.

Really hoping that when it leaks (it will, let's face it) those who choose to D/L in advance will keep comments to a *SPOILER* thread.

I'll be steadfastly refusing to listen until it's on my turntable, on my own (bah humbug!) and/or out walking on a beautiful summer's evening here in the wonderful Dorset countryside.

an offense punishable by perma-ban. should be a sticky spoiler thread written in 172pt bold font just to lure them to the same spot.

also, thanks mike/marcus! hope you had as much fun watching this chaos unfold as you had producing it. if you ever decide to release the log for attempted passwords at cosecha-transmisiones, i'd pay bocset style prices....

My signature seems appropriate for this thread.
Saw a blind man walking down the street
Greets every person he chanced to meet
Saw a cop write a ticket to a man over fifty
Fell over laughing screaming he was a hippie
Ran into a granny had a smile on her face
Broke a trophy she just won in a race

Don't worry about the future
Forget about the past
Whether it's good or bad
It's a gas

Is it weird that I kind of want to blow that up to poster size and put it one of the walls in my house somewhere?

Also, yes, thanks Boards of Canada for being awesome and stuff. I would say that the discovery of your music was a (positive) turning point in my life.

Oh! This got a sticky? Wow. Yeah, thanks guys. I've lost count of how many times this whole thing made me grin like a child on Christmas morning. I'd buy you both a pint if I could. Cheers.

This is a nice thread!

And, I feel the need to chime in too: M n' M, Hexagon Sun, friends, family, Warp (etc) a really big THANK YOU to you! So many of us have been looking forward to new output from you guys for so long, often going through periods of frequent surfing/digging, speculation, rumouring, arguing, ...obsessive behavior. Almost to the point where this whole week, and the launch, was kinda hard to believe for a while. I for one am totally psyched for this new stuff, and whatever new BoCish twists n' turns the future holds, also.

Big love. Big toadstools. Big turnips.
