You know what the music sounds like in the video? The part where the "organ" comes in sounds just like this one theme from Game of Thrones. I have no idea what it's called or where to find it, but it is the music that plays in the darker moments of the show, often times with Stanis and the Red Priestess. Anyone help me out here?

Actually, found it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04yq13nNaXw

"Reserve not met."

What price have you set that at?

Well he's listed it at 5 grand on discogs

can we please clarify that I did not list it for 5k? I wrote that in as the price and then wrote in the notes that 5k was arbitrary, and that I was just looking for offers

that panned out rather violently so I figured I'd just move it to ebay and let the net decide its value, the reserve is how much money I need for shipping costs

<3

Seriously though.....reserve STILL not met at 250 quid.....

What are you using to ship it, a RESURRECTED PEGASUS?

J

Looks like the reserve was £450. Thats more than I got for pretty much my entire BoC collection (including the things I sold for charity) and its only 20 seconds of audio haha :-0

Imagine if it turns out there will eventually be 100`s of these things on the market, id hate to be the buyer then lol.

The price is sky rocketing now that Pitchfork have written about it being on ebay

http://pitchfork.com/news/50543-boards- ... 2-on-ebay/

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Boards-of-Canad ... 1100905866

Still 6 days left. It is going to reach an absolutely insane price!

Bah! It's probably the brothers themselves who are flogging the promos. When they've sold all 6, they've covered all the outgoings for making the record + 2 pints.

Can you verify the accuracy of this translation?

I confirm that "seeds of the dead" is 100% accurate translation (i am a russian speaker too)

Actually, translation is half right. It could be 1 dead but "Semena Mertvykh" for many dead.
Semena Mertvykh --> Semena Mertvogo.

4.) FoxLingo Translation --> Russian To English (Google Translate)
5.) Semena Mertvykh --> Semena Mertvykh ??

It means that u need to convert latin letters to cyrillic alphabet.

Why this date? I googled it but all I got is Bill Clinton's signing Welfare Reform Act in US :?

Anyone with clues ?

I brought this up on the speculation thread- I did find it sort of interesting, but nothing conclusive:

last login: Aug 22, 1996:

William James Millar Mackenzie, political scientist, dies at 87

"Often he was oblique and allusive, pointing to puzzles and problems, suggesting new ways of looking at the familiar"

"Following the family path he returned to Edinburgh to gain an LLB in two years"

Semena Mertvykh --> Semena Mertvogo.

"the dead" means "the dead people", see "Dawn of the Dead", "Night of the Living Dead" etc

i think the main interest in that date was because of the Hare/HDEuthanasia computer virus, which was alluded to in the Twoism banner code. The virus was programmed to activate on 22 Aug and 22 Sep 1996.

So- I got my invoice, Bleep ran my card and then said my order went through fine yesterday and I will be getting a confirmation email today- have not got it yet, so I was wondering if the confirmation email says anything about how and when to get the MP3 DL. Is that mentioned at all in the confirmation email? Need to make arrangements to take off work!

I believe it's on a card that comes with the vinyl / CD.

Damn- so I have to wait to get the actual product in my hand if so. Do we know if we will actually get it on, or before the release date (6/11 for me in the US)?

You'll get it either before or on the 11th. Not after.
