OTV1 is probably the more improved of the two, but both sound very good. Thank you so much for sharing these with us, for anyone still on the fence wondering, they're the real deal.

I'll listen to R35TT shortly and post my thoughts again then, I wanted to save the best for last. :)

Are you one of the sooner listeners or did I miss the link?

He's one of the early listeners. Link should go up today. Will update periodically.

Thank you Quinn. Looking forward to listening to the higher quality rips. I think I'll take a lawn chair out back into the forest and have a listen today, if the links come out soon enough, and the bugs aren't too bad.

It took a bit to get caught up with this thread. Yikes.

My best wishes go to your family, Quinn.

It was nice that mdg showed up to comment on this too.

Yes, 48kHz, sorry. If you need to convert it, there are several programs that will decode/encode from FLAC to AAC or MP3! :)

if you're looking to convert/compress FLAC's down to something like MP3 etc, Foobar2000 is free and works a treat.

I'm one of the people that got a first listen of them...I'm sure they will be available to everyone really soon.

Finished with R35TT a couple of hours ago - I thought it was an improvement over the best version that's been floating around.

For anyone else who's listened to all 3, which one seems the most improved to you? I have to go with OTV1 but I really think this is by far the best we will ever hear all 3 of these tapes barring some official release. The engineer did very good things with the material!

Even right now people should be able to get an idea of the level of improvement of each tape based on the samples posted early in the thread since I think they include music from all of them.

Thanks again...can't wait for everyone else to enjoy it shortly too.

Agreed re Audacity. I use both regularly for various tasks. 8)

However, Foobar works faster when converting a whole folder of tracks and I find it easier to select the bitrate of the MP3 I want. Audacity is a lovely piece of freeware too though.

Logging in to my rarely used and oft forgotten Twoism account to say thank you for taking the time to share this music with us, and I hope for the best with your medical situation. Cheers.

Hello,

I feel very disappointed about the fact that I am not included into the super secret group of people who have the files already. Please fix this immediately.

Regards,

Thank you all so much, the music will be out there soon. There was a small problem with uploading, hence the time delay. 10AM GMT. <3!
