ah skytree... haven't heard that or the new album yet! will need to give them a spin at some point.

GH: great mix man, really nice original track too if i may say so. (loved fulcrum too particularly)

in terms of new stuff, i had a brief chat at edinburgh gig and he said its been delayed by the hard drive crash as mentioned on facebook but the collection of older tracks tidied up / remastered should still be with us this year.

speaking of the edinburgh gig, it was fucking brilliant. A BAD MAN laid down a great opening set (album to follow - ill be buying, and ill post here no doubt), coppe - who i admittedly had never heard of or listened to before the gig - was UTTERLY outstanding as a live performer... i honestly just had to grin the whole time at how fun and excellent it was. and of course christ. himself laid down another total belter - vernor vinge live was stunning, THOSE MELODIES. plus the new collab with coppe that will be coming out was premiered. very atmospheric, awesome track. did anyone else go to one of the other shows?

have you guys heard our very own Goiter Sanchez' / SWEGUNO's pylonesque remix (pianoesque)? https://soundcloud.com/sweguno/pylonesq ... ue-edition
I was aware of the existence of this but somehow skipped it til quite recently, well worth a listen if you haven't. it's a brilliant song for the piano, fun to play as well actually and not too challenging to pick up.

"christ. 'curio'. Volume 1. Imminent."
"It's a collection of old stuff, four tracks, demos, sketches, curiositis. A few tracks from delicass and Yugo. About three hours of music. Three volumes. All before Christmas. £5 each. Not all of it is amazing, but it's all 'of interest', to me definitely, and hopefully to you guys."

Early material should sometimes be left alone.. But ultimately i'm curious, and I like to support Christopher so I will buy it.

I've had a few listens thru now and I'm pretty impressed, I like it. looking forward to future volumes (I think he said there would be 3.)

The original version of Perlandine Friday is interesting, drums aside it's a lot more understated. As far as I can tell there are only one or two notes or so that are different from the final, and yet it's almost totally different.

Faves include three tracks that were on UM - "dempsey", "slickorish boy", "loxodromic curve" - that and "malachi constant" which is really nice too. But yeah, always nice to have an extra hour of good music to put on rotation!

Can we talk about this again?
It really changed my view on the potential of the universe and haunts my dreams to this day.

This may just be as near as we get to the long overdue BOCset. Can certainly see why the brothers chose Chris as their lab partner :)

after listening to the curio volumes for about a month straight, I have come to the conclusion that I have been right all along. not only is Christ. a musical genius, but he is talented beyond words at crafting beautiful melodies like no other. there really is no one like him. the curio series was the biggest surprise and release of 2014 for me.
