Just like to say that after recieving an invite from Mexicola here and on Facebook it's looking like my girlfriend and I will be making our way up to the Devon one - all being well! Have joined the group and put "maybe" the 11th July one. I may be working that night :(

Dorset! If you reach Devon, you've gone too far! Happy to have to both on board.

Ha ha ha ha! That's what you get for late nights with bacon sandwiches. I'll be more switched on later I expect. Fishfingers = Brain Food

Right.... time to do a roll call I think.

Is everyone who is going in the Facebook event? If not, but you are going, can you send me a PM?

If the numbers are large enough it might make most sense for me to charter a boat, because the regular passenger boat isnt a particularly large thing.

Well, I'm going to ask one more time, then I'll stop as I don't want to be a bother: is there *anybody* making the trip from or around Edinburgh with access to a van or truck with a bed that would be willing to give Cupz, his girlfriend and I a ride to and from? I will compensate for the difference of petrol w/cash.

Unfortunately this one aspect of the trip has become a little more complicated than it needs to be and this would not only save us 60 pounds but a lot of time and stress.

Please send me a PM if this is possible. Thank you. :)
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

Train passengers are being urged to plan ahead before the works begin on Scotland's busiest rail line between Edinburgh and Glasgow this weekend.

Rail commuters at Lenzie and Bishopbriggs are being warned of six weeks of chaos to services because of major engineering works. The closure of the Winchburgh Tunnel, near Linlithgow, will affect services from Saturday 13th June, until Monday 27th July.

ScotRail says engineers will be working round-the-clock to lower and re-lay two lines of track through the 330m-long tunnel and install equipment to carry the overhead power lines needed for the electrification of the railway. A temporary timetable will be put in place and buses will replace trains where necessary.

Commuters have been advised by ScotRail to set off earlier than normal and plan ahead for their journeys. Train journeys on the busiest section from Glasgow to Edinburgh may take up to 50 percent longer.

^ don't worry too much. It's been fine so far haha. Just avoid peak times (but that's a good rule any time.)

Facebook won't let me reply on the event page. :/.

How in the hell did that not wrap Cupz haha. On my screen that is all one line...

So, unfortunately it looks like I am having to pull out of the scotland event :( I simply don't have enough money to sort out travel, not even a coach. I am gutted.

I am still going to the Dorset one and I look forward to seeing everyone going to that. Hopefully next year will be more opportune for me!

By the way, cool that you're coming along. We should sit around and talk knowledge about production. Ha.

Midges? Of course they bite. They're little blood sucking bastards.

These aren't midges. These are Scottish midges. Hard drinking, hard fighting psychopaths who wear nothing under their kilts.

Seriously, midges in the Highlands are your worst nightmare. Trust me on this.

OH yes! they bite alright. Come to Scotland and find out the hard way .

Now if only there was a Mass Extinction Event with the midges, instead of the poor bees :D

The whole midge thing had me wanting to buy a tent but I was informed (I forgot who it was) that someone had reserved a little cabin not far from the camp site and said anyone was welcome. I'll have to see what the status on that is still.

Yeah, we intend to purchase one.

Also, all my clothes are dark. Heard something about that.

Don't think I'll be too afraid of the midges though. As hard as they drink, I can drink harder. Though of course - not underestimating them. I'll expect the absolute worst and just hope for the fairly bad.
