For people who haven't bought his stuff yet, it's still 0.50 gbp, but won't be long anymore.

Fair warning.

I'm putting the bandcamp prices up substantially.

next 24-48 hours.

Last chance for now to pot a bargain.

50p each, plus mystery bonus tracks.

Some news coming, might be a while though.

I'm very disorganised.

basically robbery at 50 pence in my opinion, worth a lot more, but from what christ. has said in interviews before, it isn't much less than you get from the proceeds of on-label physical sales so i can see the point. the music on the curio volumes is absolutely excellent, rewards repeat listening and i do not understand why it is not more popular in related musical circles to ours.

Just grabbed all 3 curio volumes yesterday. These are really great! I've listened through all of it now and there are some real gems in there. I'll be listening to them over and over again for sure.

If I were to pick a favorite, I'd have a hard time, but I think I'd go with "dagnabbit" from volume 3. Such a great tune! Loving that super dark bass line that comes in.

Yeah, same for Delicass Harmonium, you can basically piece both albums together with the Curio tracks; looks like he only excluded the 3 longest tracks from Delicass and the second part of 'Igorant', which in its full version also makes Yugo's longest track.

Confession--I paid a lot more but still not nearly enough, I realized it as soon as the receipt came in. I'll bundle what I owe into the next piece he puts up on BC, least I can do.

I likely would never have listened to him if it wasn't for you. Maybe it's just me, but the way he does things like prioritize real, open communication over promotion has become part of the art for me and says something about him too...and it was all already in its own sort of stratosphere. I can only wish as an artist I didn't let things that are out of my control affect how I felt about what I created, but for me at least it's a huge challenge.

i think you're right, and there's an extent to which fans sort of owe it to him to promote the music through word of mouth in return, imo.

in a sensible universe his record label would be promoting the record leaving christ. free to focus on the important things but that doesn't seem to be happening at all. i don't remember it happening around the time of its release either, although i wasn't paying a lot of attention back then. hopefully this situation is rectified for the next release and it gets the exposure it deserves.

Well, I must say this thread is doing a good job of just that. This thread convinced me to buy most of his entire collection and I'm sure it's convinced others too. I've played some of the absolute gems to friends a few times already too. Can't help myself when it comes to sharing great music like this. I think that goes for most of us here on twoism. We're all pretty fanatical when it comes to music. We don't get too many musical-non-chalants here. That's why "This Random Sound" has the most threads out of all of the main twoism thread categories by far.

The possibility seems to have arisen for a vinyl run of Curio. If you're interested, make your voice heard cos the comments says it needs pre-orders to go ahead.

If you still haven't listened to curio then for god's sakes sort your life out:

He's asking about Curio again, it's for a pretty decent price as well.

Come on guys!

Well worth it imo, a great compilation, 25 squid or so. Only works after 100 orders or something so spread the word if you want it to happen.
