The 16yo Laphroaig is just beautiful - I like the 10yo too, but the 16 was something really special. I was on Islay on holiday a couple of weeks ago - had a trip round the Jura distillery, their Prophecy was lovely. Had lunch at the Ardbeg distillery cafe, but couldn't go around as I had the pram with me - lunch was a lamb & haggis burger with a relish made using the Ardbeg 10yo - yum!
Funnily enough I tried Ardmore for the first time fairly recently and thought it was lovely.
And yes, Scottish single malt all the way.
