OK, I've gone through the tracklist, made all the times more accurate and added some more track IDs, thanks to input from this thread. Maybe Mexicola can update OP.

dunno about that, because it had the "i'm listening" sample which - unless i'm wrong here, which is possible - was only in later versions of the track, and not early ones.

Indulge this supposotion a little longer though, if you don't mind.

You might have a point about "I'm listening" coming later in the development of the track, but that means that the mash-up was done after the last version of Aquarius. Right?

I'm working at this from the other end because it seems more like something they would have done before MHTRTC. We all know that many BOC tracks have a history which pre-dates what we know about.
I think that Slave to the Rhythm shares some DNA with Aquarius. The opening chords are not the same, but they have similarities. The bass lines are similar. So what? So, nothing, probabbly. But BOC mixed them up at some point. Maybe last week maybe before 1997.
My point about "I'm listening" is that it was just as likely added back in for the Peel session version, not added as a new element. And if that was the case, then was it there at the very early stages when they were just messing aound with 80s pop and 70s hippy funk for a mix-tape?
It just makes more sense to me that

Wonderful mix. The inclusion of the Indian Raga stuff kept me thinking of what Marcus mentioned about Le Mystere des voix Bulgares:
It’s the kind of music that is totally divorced from normal music, bit I love it. It resets my clock.’

Is it A2 on that tape?

They sound very similar, but I thought they were different tracks, I'll have a listen again.

Don't think so. Here are the lyrics I can make out:

Is there someone who can understand, the things that he says
And there was something he once said to me, a long time ago
Something I never quite understood, something that seems so strange
It seems a long time ago, such a long time ago
And will things ever change?
No things don't ever change

[?] can mean nothing to him now, he can take his time
[?] passing by, and he smiles, he pauses for a while
I stayed up late for you last night, I waited all through the night
It seems a long time ago, such a long time ago

[?] can mean nothing to him now, he can take his time
[?] passing by, and he smiles, he pauses for a while
I stayed up late for you last night, I waited all through the night
It seems a long time ago, such a long time ago

I thought I could hear bits of the Dead Dogs Two remix in that Stefan Zauner track.

Ok, think the 42 minute mark contains slightly sped up samples of the 'room' scene in 2001 after Dave Bowman exits the wormhole. There are ambient noises in the sound design and I think they match up pretty well. Yarp?

Hi! I have taken on the painstaking task of recording then cutting up yesterday's set into individual tracks. I missed about 10 seconds over halfway into the set when the feed was buffering. Other than that, you can trust I cut it up well as I've been a musician for a long time.

I'll set up a DropBox with an MP3@320 (250MB or so) and WAV (1.1GB or so.) For now the 54 tracks are untitled, "Track 01" etc..

I'll leave another reply when it's up and running. Take care.

Garden Botanum by These Trails at 55 minutes in - the synth runs towards the end of that song sound extremely similar to the ones right at the very very end of Aquarius. Sounds like they were sampled or recreated by BOC.

Wxaxrxp shows from Friday are being archived by NTS now. If the BoC mix will be archived, it might be tomorrow or Wednesday. They sometimes add tracklists also.

https://www.mixcloud.com/NTSRadio/

The mixcloud stream will be 67kbps AAC. Probably sounds worse than the 128k MP3 stream capture, which might be the best quality we will get.
