Hello.

Tonight I am playing the first episode for my new radio show, Cortex Primer, on my campus radio station.

It will be a weekly freakout hell ride of epic proportions, pre-recorded every Friday night at 11pm Pacific, until they kick me off campus for being a roustabout and causing constant kerfuffles.

You can listen to it here at this link that I am linking to in the very next line...
http://www.orangemedianetwork.com/kbvr_fm/

Please stop by sometime and join our host Hugh Manoid, a disheveled text-to-speech robot, as he expands your minds to new horizons and your horizons to older minds badly in need of a tune-up.

Thanks and smooches,
mechanismj (The one with the sandwich for a head)

Can we listen back later dude?
Also, accesses to that site is barred in Europe. Had to change server on my old VPN before I could access ;-)

Ah, bummer. I did not know that was the case.

I will definitely upload the episodes. My initial thought was just a google drive link, but that seems kind of dicey? Does anyone know of a good place to upload mixes? Am I going to get a copyright strike for uploading entire tracks to soundcloud or mixcloud?

I'd imagine mixcloud should be fine. I listen to a couple of music podcasts on there (Monday Graveyard, Kites & Pylons) and they include full tracks.

Listening now and it's fantastic! Any chance of a tracklist? Strong opener with White Cyclosa ;-)

All the set lists will be programmed into Spinitron as I conduct the show. For some reason I cannot get a direct link to my set. If you click on the following link and scroll down to 11pm on Friday you will see my show. Click on it and it will take you to a page where my set lists will be.

http://www.orangemedianetwork.com/kbvr_fm/schedule/

Let me know if that works ok for you. If not, I will just copy the sets over here as I upload new shows to mixcloud.

Speaking of which, I did try adding the set to mixcloud, but it doesn't seem to be coming up for some reason. It pops up for me but only when I log in. Know how to rectify that by chance?

Thanks for listening! It's an excuse for me to be a goofball. The next show is going to be a bit more bombastic, musically.

Those dirty Krockler twins are at it again! Kirk impersonates a Hungarian diplomat for street cred, and Katie accidentally clones an entire pet store! Also, does Chuck finally tell the United States Postal Service how he REALLY feels?! All that and Harry Lungs tonight on Cortex Primer, 11pm Pacific.

No one without a spirit guide will be admitted... also you might need a VPN if you aren't from the US. Just sayin'...

Nice to hear an old Christ track to round it out -- I'll be tuning in each Friday

Disappointed you didn't play Monster Mash
