So where should we be keeping our eyes peeled?
Obviously the Hell Interface YouTube, does BoC have an official website?

Warp's new year sale ends Feb 1st, and it "excludes pre-orders". Nothing too out of the ordinary, right? Except there is currently nothing to pre-order. If they're emphasising this statement, surely it means they have a new release to announce this month? Obviously this doesn't specifically confirm BoC, but couple this with our Warp roster theories on the previous page, and it doesn't seem too unlikely! I will however blast my pants with piss if it's a new Jockstrap EP or summat lol

Don't forget the Soundcloud dump! That alone consisted of more material than BoC have released in their entire career lol

I feel like we would get an album first, and the BoC set later...
It'd feel weird for them to release a bunch of older tunes before releasing a more modern album, Aphex got away with it because he'd just released Syro.
I'd be happy if we got a BoC set, containing all the releases we never got to hear, but I somehow doubt it, or at least, doubt we would get that before getting the 5th LP.
Echelon wrote:I may be in the minority but I would have loved a physical release of the best tracks from that. Grateful Aphex did it all the same (I've come to value his creativity on almost the same level as BOC) but I'm a physical media nut. Would love a nice vinyl release with brand new artwork.

Oh, absolutely! Some of those tracks have since been pressed to vinyl, but they're all spread across different releases as opposed to being part of one unified project, which is a shame.
I genuinely think that if he collated the best bits into a 2-hour double album, it would've been his strongest released work to date. It all feels so carefree, yet filled to the brim with emotion. I think that's also why I'm attracted to the BoC Old Tunes comps so much. It's a couple of guys simply making great music with no pressure or expectations.
Echelon wrote:See I didn't even know some of these tracks were actually released. I know being a sloppy mess is Aphex's style (and I mean that in the best way positive haha, he thrives off of chaos) but for someone looking to complete my collection, it's a pain in the butt.

Echelon, keeping my fingers crossed for the date... MDG was here on 6th January...
