What a great way to end a great series.
Bloody well written, and overall just a great expierience.

Mr. Robot was masterful and sits near the top of my favorite shows list. Unlike a lot of shows that use anarchists as villains, wildcards, or plot flavoring, the very heart of the show was anarchistic in a way, exploring power structures, what keeps people in power, and how revolutionaries fight against corporations and the state. And it didn't provide any easy answers or cast anything as black and white. It showed the different reasons people rebel (personal, practical, ideological), how revolutionary movements are co-opted and manipulated for profit, and examined the psychological strain of trying to balance damage against the system with cost to innocent people.

Extremely impactful show and I think it'll take years for a lot of people to realize just how subversive it was.

Almost finished the Serpent. Gotta say the first episode I was really turned off by the guys who are supposed to be Dutch in the series. I'm Dutch, why couldn't they have just gotten Dutch actors for the parts?

But, after a few episodes I stopped caring and the series is actually pretty darn good. Would recommend.

I very rarely watch series. maybe once ever 5 years. I highly recommend "The Good Place". Very enjoyable/funny
And "Kidding" starring Jim Carrey. but don't get too involved with that one. they didn't get signed for a 3rd season so it is dead.

Counterpart was a total mindfu*k and the most original series I’ve seen in quite a while.

This looks very interesting, but I read it was cancelled? Is the ending satisfying?
After the OA got fucked over big time I kinda have a hard time with watching series that didn't run to their proper planned ending.

Counterpart definitely did not complete the story but IMO left off in a part of the plot it in a way for you to draw your own conclusions based on your outlook and perception.

I still often think about some of the many intellectual aspects and questions presented in that show.

The reason for canceling was apparently not because of poor ratings or a bad plot - but because it was “too male”.

Counterpart was great. Almost need a road map to track who and where you are at any given moment.

Rubicon is a really good one season wonder that got cancelled (maybe because it was too close to the truth?)

Absolutely!!! I learned yesterday it was released under the Warp Film label, yes the same warp. so that was a mindblow

The series are just as dramatic and tragic as the movie but they explore different themes than the first one, so no skinheads and nationalists stuff. more like rave culture and friends falling apart over time.

It was filmed about the same amount of years apart so it feels like you grow up with the characters and you really get attached to them. Each episode is like 45 minutes to an hour long so they're like movies in themselves. if it has been a few years since you watched the movie you should watch it before to refresh your memory.

I watch movies and series like once a year or two. so when I recommend something it's definitely worth your time

(theres also this is england 88 I forgot to say that)

Back in the days I watched The Expanse but it only had 2 seasons, now I have Amazon Prime I started over from the beginning. Amazing sci-fi/space opera series. Highly recommended.

It is starting to look like the OA might get a 3rd season after all. 1 of the show's creators have been giving weird clues for something to be solved, and he confirmed it's about the OA. Hyped!

If people are curious to what this is all about, the OA subreddit is on a wild goose chase atm.

I'm only one episode into 'Dispatches from Elsewhere' and I'm feeling it will be absolutely right up the street of Twoismers. You'll see/hear what I mean.

I'm about half way through Mare of Easttown - it's really good; captures that uneasy small town atmosphere really well.

Just finished this as well, it was a very good watch. Sometimes there just seemed to be a bit too much drama going on in every family, but it's pretty darn good!
