It sure is. Very nice place to have sat out multiple lockdowns.

I'd love to visit! Hopefully, some day I'll get there.

As for the whisky, it's probably the most complex flavored that I've tried, though I'm by no means a connoisseur. Very sweet at first, then a bit salty, with a strong smoky aftertaste. About as smooth as I'd expect from a 14 year. In all, quite nice, and worth the price paid for an occasional treat.

Ah, good to know - cheers! I'm blaming my late-90s brain fog for not knowing that ;)

Let me know if you do!

Not a huge whisky drinker myself. I'm not into the smoky/peaty flavours of Scottish whisky. I prefer Irish whiskey myself - Powers is my go to. Shhhhh

I was last in Oban in '99, stopover on my way to Mull and Iona. Love that side of Scotland and can't wait to get back.

Love these little bookshelves, such lush, warm and organic sound. Highly recommended.

£2 instant disposable barbeque.
The last one I bought lasted over an hour and a half, managed onions, 4 burgers and toasting the baps, easily slips in the rucksack and doesn't weigh much, also the used grill makes excellent razorwire for the garden fence panels when I need to keep out the crackheads that live accross the road from me climbing over.
Bargain!!

Absolutely love JJ Cale. I've got all his albums up to 1983, before he made those crappy 90s ones.
