Wait so this is actually the cover?

It's a liiittle... questionable. Why's the BoC text so huge?

I kinda like it, to me it gives off the same feel as the old documentaries referenced in the Tape 05 video.

It reminds me SO MUCH of 80's "video nasties" vhs covers and so many late 70's-80's tv show title cards, etc, etc. The first thing that came to mind on the new short video was things like "Children of the Stones" or "The Stone Tape" and the final Quatermass show. Man oh man! So pumped!

Ya that is a bit different right? Also Bleep is making creaking and snapping sounds under the weight.

I LOVE the artwork - looks like an old 70's soundtrack album to a so-bad-its-good-and-they-possibly-filmed-some-bits-for-real slasher movie

According to Boomkat:

"Inferno retains their signature melodies and atmospheres, drawing on the esoteric influences explored in Societas X Tape (their 2019 NTS mix for Warp Records’ 30th anniversary) and the darker ambience introduced on Tomorrow’s Harvest, further deepened by an expanded role for speech soundbites."

First of all - I love you all and I love it when the community is this together with joy.

Secondly - Are we thinking Tape 05 is Father & Son and the song on the YouTube teaser today is Introit?

These track titles are FIERCE. BoC are not fucking around with their intent here, it's going to be dark as all hell. 18 tracks and by the lengths, very few if any of their trademark interludes.

Cannot wait.
