The voice in this song is stuck in my head. But like...the standout part that's stuck in my head is just the timbral quality of the voice? I'm tremendously impressed by how uncanny it is; it's got that film grain quality to it yet it's hyperreal sounding at the same time. Like each time it appears, it comes in with the strident yet wobbly light of a film before sliding away. Hard to describe. I don't know if I've ever heard a voice quite like that in a song before. It's blazing a new neural pathway in my brain, somewhere close to the sound of horse hooves running in old movies, which was always ear candy to me since I was a kid. Delicious, delicious sounds

The garbled and distorted vocals sound like a demons on the shoulder of the clean vocals. Kind like a back and forth between an external monologue of what the clean vocals are saying and an internal monologue of what they are hearing in their head.

Also at 2:53 I almost hear “I am the Alpha… I am Omega”

I get that same feeling! Those distorted vocals represent demons or evil spirits mocking the human voices or internal demonic monologue (like you said), but in the song, they also work so well as embellishments. Fascinating track!

it didn't help me figure anything out, but there's definitely some chopped up/backwards woman's voice in there. i reversed it, but that didn't help either

someone else mentioned hearing "the Alpha and the Omega" in there towards the end. i totally hear that as well. i was happy to hear someone mention it because i thought i was nuts

They sound about the same as they do in the full mix to me. I think they're just incoherent glitches.
