Thank you for adding to your friends’ list! I am not sure, if you know our festival well. That’s why I will start with the small introduction...
We are a group of organizers of one of the biggest open-air chill festivals in Latvia Klusa Daba – Still Life. This is 24 hours meditative ambient music performance made to popularize various shapes of contemporary art, including ambient music and lives vj acts. The main goal of the fest is to create music and visual conceptual island of peace in the middle of the city environment and daily rush.
The event will take place for the third time in August 2008 in Riga, the capital of Latvia, at the AB pier on the Daugava River – almost island, straight across the famous Riga Old Town. The festival will be held within the cultural program “White Nights Europe” that unites Riga with such European capitals as Paris, Rome, Brussels and Madrid.
Attendance of the festival is FREE. The approximate number of visitors is about 4000 people. The target audience of the fest is socially and culturally active people, young artists, students, families with children, city guests and others.
