Mexicola wrote:Finally got myself the 2nd PC I've wanted so I can get my home studio back up and running again. Last had my studio up and running about 4 long, long years ago so I've been itching to get it going again.
Cash was/is tight so had to scour the 2nd hand market. Got a reconditioned P4 3.6Ghz, 80 GB HD (ok, bit small), 1Gb RAM, 17" Flat screen, Creative 5.1 surround sound system (stand alone unit so that's going on the TV - sod the PC), printer (coming to eBay soon), XP (not Vista thank God), plus I got him to rip the old Creative soundcard out (eBay item No.2) and put my old Audigy Platinum in there for me too so I can plug my gear straight in the front of the tower with no mucking about round the back.
Cost me the square root of fuck all and I can finally - FINALLY! - get busy writing and recording again.
I am a VERY VERY happy man again
