I was trawling Archive.org again and I think i've found another video Boc have sampled.

The video is called "Spider Engineers" and I think they have used it in Alpha and Omega from Geogaddi.

Video:

Sample taken at 21 seconds in.

Song:

Sample used at 6:03 and 6:17

The sample in question is some kind of harp type thing. I think they took only a section of the ascending notes and spliced it into their tune. It sounds a little sketchy but when I played the two of hem concecutively I was convinced.

Any of you suffer from arachnophobia then? :D

It sounds pretty close, but it also sounds like something they could have very easily created on their own. Nice find either way.

The crescendo in Alpha and Omega sounds more like a Vibraphone.

They could have procesed it to excite the timbres. I would agree however that with it being such a short phrase its very difficult to know for certain. Sounds close to it for me though. When i first heard it I immediately thought of "Alpha and Omega".

Perhaps I have listened to it a little too much tho.....
