Good work Ae!, but just one question... no PayPal option? :?
My credit card was stolen a while ago and though I have a new one, it's not configured to allow online transactions, yet, so... well I guess this is a good reason to have this issue solved. I'll definitely go to my bank tomorrow morning and hopefully I'll be purchasing a copy by the end of the day. :)
Curious to see what does the microsite look like...come Saturday!!

Great news Aesthetics, thanks for all the hard work you guys have done to produce this even during the birth of your new baby.

I take it spelling mistakes on the sleeve are there for keeps? ("Telecom" instead of "Telekom") Don't worry, it's no problem! My enormous fanbase will recognise my distinctive sound no matter what it says. :)

Great, the artwork looks fantastic! Can't wait to get my hands on my copy, and for the digital release too seeing as it's going to take longer than that for the CD to arrive. Shame the artists who appear on it don't get a free copy!

I have to say, I don't think the timing of this years' OoT comp was bad at all. Nor am I bothered by the ETA and all that ancillary garbage. the main thing is we composed and gathered amazing music, it was mixed amazingly by worthy talents, and Ae had a baby. all this silly nonsense about when's it coming out is utterly beside the point and anyone who worries about it needs an emergency vaccination of perspective.

Yeah whatever. I didn't say I blame anyone, I was just very excited for the end product, it took about 6 months while the original ETA was about 2 months. I don't care if it ultimately takes 3, 6 or 12 months to complete but I happen to be a person who likes to know what and when things happen, also in my personal life. Besides, if an ETA wouldn't mean anything to anyone then there probably isn't a point in setting one in the first place. Try to read my comments regarding the ETA as an objective and attempted polite way of noting something that I thought just needed to be said.

actually Guido i didn't intend my post to be a response to your comments in particular, i feel like i understood your motives in posting them and i didn't get the idea you were antagonizing Ae over it at all. so to clarify my post is not in response to any perceived subtext running through this topic, believe me i am terrible at guessing and reading subtext on the internet, i was just speaking personally with no particular reference to what anyone had said before

also, i'm a bit drunk

cheers all around

EDIT: so yes just to nail it down, guido i think your comments were well in line, I'm not trying to do anything subtle there's no sleight of hand here  just reacting to an attitude... anyway I think you are probably very right in what you had said regarding the ETA, but in my mind the fact that Ae was busy becoming a father trumps all expectations. Maybe better forward planning was called for there, that could be very true...i'm just happy the thing came together after all! and not surprised either. We are a juggernaut of the electronic scene and have much to be proud of. solidarity my twoism bro's!

EDIT AGAIN: way more than a bit drunk. i'd better get my dumb ass over to the post when your drunk thread.

Thanks for the heads up man :)

I guess you didn't visit in the past couple of weeks? There have been a newsblock with the request to all artists to check the spelling. I'm glad you are ok with it because the spelling on the artwork can't be undone. Shall I change the name on the microsite and digital release?

EDIT: Sorry, I guess Joebot made a mistake by entering the tracklist... (in the first place I thought it should've been Telecom. Telekom is what you entered and is in the original tracklist and all the tracklistst I have except for the real artwork.)

Hi Aesthetics
Cheers Man. I did check over everything at the time, but as you say it has changed on the real artwork. I'm fine about it, don't worry. I'm very happy to see my track on there and I'm looking forward to hearing your mix very much indeed. Can I suggest that now you have done all this hard work that you go and get yourself some large cold bottles of beer, and have a nice chilled time to reward yourself. Here's one from me:

No chill time yet. I'm currently checking the V0 rip I did from the original. After that I need to create a flac so everything will be ready for saturdays release!

Jillz atm? Either I missed the joke or I should carry out some further drinking research. In the meantime I'll have that Pilsener if you're having Jillz atm! Slainte! :)
