Am I the only one who hopes this isn't the release that I was expecting from BoC? I cant afford this shit, and I don't really listen to anyone else on WARPs label. Oh well, hopefully there will be more soon!!!

Any ideas on what the 30 second audio clip is from? I'm not familiar enough with the entire Warp roster to know, but it doesn't sound like Autechre or BOC.

it's the sound you get when you play every track that's in the release at the same time, whilst passing the audio through the filter section of a Korg MS-20, through a couple of Doepfer envlopes and modules, and playing it back through the cabinet of a Moog Modular.

yes, playing the audio through the cabinet. the vibrating mahogany.

Really?? you think a £100 is alot of money.....or alot for this boxset? I dont think a £100 is alot of money i know people who spend that on a night out and what have they got to show for that lol.......also this will always hold its money so if you buy it you haven't really lost anything have you? Go on treat yourself you know you want to .........Also sometimes with pre orders you get extra treats ...maybe for the first few hundred???? hmmmm lets hope so..i got my name in the last Sigur ros album book cover because i pre ordered early!! well if someone is buying this boxset just for the BoC material, then they're either silly or have a lot of spare money to spend.

that would be like buying a whole tin of Cadbury's roses just because you like the little Dairy Milk bars that you get.

that's like saying that Alien is better than Aliens.

they're both great films but for different reasons.

sometimes i'm in a mood that equates to "autechre are amazing, no-one else can beat them" to "Boards of Canada are the shiznit", to "My Bloody Valentine owns everything" to "The Tuss is the future".

i ordered the box set because i like the artists on Warp records. not just BoC.

i really hope it's not going to be a crime on here to like other artists :-/
