How is this news? It's been said numerous times that BoC do NOT have any input to that myspace site, even though it is technically "official".

As far as I know MDG maintains it, and he has a direct connection with the band, so it can be interpretated as legitimate news.

I'm basing this off my fuzzy memory, but I recall it being someone at Warp who ran it, not MDG. Either way, I want a new BoC album as much as anyone. I just hate being teased.

I think it has to do with either the finalisation of their forthcoming album (mastering or track selection) OR jamming for future records to be released after the ones coming in 2010. Either way it's great news. I think they went on holiday and just returned to their music production hideout.

And yes that myspace site is an official site, but not since the very beginning. They've taken over the account which was initially created by a fan. Read the statements page @ bocpages.

I've heard a few people use the term "going into the studio" when an album is done. For example- "Yeah, the album's done I just need to finalise a tracklisting- I'm going to go into the studio at the weekend."

Or it could mean "We've finished one album, taken a break and we are going back into the studio." Bands tend to be at least a few months ahead of their releases.
