Why? Anybody can do that, with 2 clicks using Audacity.
That leaked version shouldn't be posted anyway if you approach it like that..

Okay you guys, you're right.
My enthusiasm got the better of me, and I didn't thought it through.

Hereby, my humble apologies.

(I also still think the youtube link is close to what I did though)

I think they actually made this recently, for fans. Just using old stuff as usual. It's the fucking BOC bomb man..

It sounds like a tornado of everything BOC being strewn about in chaos as the hexagon sun goes asunder.. this is.. the BOC BOMB

There's no need to ask for it here, use Google and your common sense and you will find it soon enough.

I know this song was probably made awhile ago (2001), but I hope their newer albums include more long, soft-style songs like this one.

On the initial listen, I agree with you. I don't think this track has been 'in the can' for years, but rather assembled from older existing parts more recently. Which is a good thing, as it means they are actively working...

Remember before this came out and people were moaning that it sucks how they are releasing 747, when the samples from their website made it out to be a mediocre song?

I just listened to it at the normal speed and it sounds a lot better
No, I won't. Please go away. I don't like you.

747 sort of feels like BoC remixing SeeFeel in a weird way to me. It's got that shoegaze texture thing going on. My initial reaction is a little underwhelmed... but this unreleased Autechre track is nostalgic man!

Edit: Kinda digging the Plaid too!
Edit2: 'Dett' is catchy as all get out.

Well, hopefully that youtube clip doesn't do it justice, but it sounds like a complete non song to me.

That's not an unfair characterization. I mean I'm grateful for anything from the brothers... but I actually don't remember much about the track and I just listened to it. Which is discouraging.

And bear in mind I'm a Fennesz and Stars of the Lid and Hecker fan.. I can deal with a lack of easily perceptible structure.. but it just didn't grab me. Plaid's 'Dett' is a lot of fun though IMO.

Edit: Clark's 'Rattlesnake' is also a highlight. Though short. :(

Samples remind anyone else of those in audiotrack 6 from side A of Old Tunes vol 1?

(and yes, i'm talking about the Old Tunes Vol 1 that is now actually just "random 35 track tape")
