All mine is on mp3.

Keep in mind, when I first learned/heard of BoC, I lived in a town that was completely disconnected from modern society. The chances of finding them in local record stores was slim to none, but for some reason they had the entire Osmond's discography available. Now that I'm back home and in an actual CITY, I'm in the process of ordering their albums from my local record store.

It's strange because before the whole mp3 revolution took over, I always considered the packaging and artwork as one-half of the experience. Strange how quickly convenience changes things.

Wish me luck.

Yeah I used to be happy with just the CD versions of Boards material, hell I've still got the very first CD I brought back in 98 but a couple of years ago I logged on to discogs and discovered all this lovely stuff that for some reason I felt compelled to own. Even some obscure stuff like the Cardmar cover version of Roygbiv (which is dire) I just had to have it to be a total nerd completist. So here's my collection that in essence started 11 years ago but only really started to become an obsession 2-3 years ago.

My collection in chronological order:

And here's the stuff I want:

MASK200
Music Has the Right and Geogaddi Beat Records cassettes, could have brought these but they were stupidly priced.
Obviously anything prior to board1 but that aint gonna happen so i don't even know why I'm bothering typing this.
There's a few others like the japanese releases and MHTRTC and Campfire vinyls but I can grab those anytime.

And hello everyone!
We might be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us.

Cheers, like i say I've been working on it for a while and I have a very understanding missus so when I tell her the original twoism is for sale she's cool and knows that the new oven or some house related boring stuff will have to wait (again).

As for the price well you know what they go for but its not the most expensive BOC 12" I've purchased I can tells ya.

So yeah I know I need Music Has The Right on vinyl (with braille of course) but I'll get that once MASK200 is in my grubby little paws.

I Have everything except for the early rare releases, except for Boc Maxima in a High-Quality FLAC format on my computer.

The only physical release that I have is Music Has The Right To Children CD.

As far as music goes, I don't believe that music should have to be paid for. I feel that it betrays the scope of music and what that music stands for.

If you want the artist to keep making music, then give them the money

I like to say pretentious things to justify doing whatever I like too.

Well, that's the thing. If the music industry didn't revolve around money then there would probably be a lot more music out there that would meet high musical standards such as Boards. This is because the prominent musical artists would instead work to make great music instead of work to make great money.

Instead, there are a lot of musical artists out there that are truly s*** but they are called "top" bands because they make a ton of money.

Anyway, just a thought.
