Just bought 35x old LP's and a musty old book about Leningrad/St Petersberg for £3.60 in a local second hand shop. :D

The vinyl is awesome. Mixture of Rachmaninov, Rimsky-Korsakov, etc and - best of all - a few old Soviet Army choir LPs with loads of Russian folk songs on them.

Man, I'm such a Russian fanboy :D

Also bought Daft Punk - Alive because it was only 4 pounds in London, remembered I kinda loved it when it was out, so I thought lets just pick it up.

I bought a keyboard! It's a Yamaha YPT-210, nothing fancy, just something I can sit down and play around with. I've come up with a few good ideas but I haven't followed up on them yet (I'm recording myself playing and then when the camera's SD card is full I'm going to go through the video files and see if I've come up with anything that I can use.)

Anyone who makes music and feels like they are constantly fighting with their DAW when trying to write melodies, consider buying a keyboard.

An old copy of Legend of Legaia. Love those old school RPG's. Hunted for a while for it, too.
