i'm surprised this hasn't already turned into a thread about how we all take things way too seriously and don't know anything about having fun.

Do you realize that these (counter)posts also help to get into that direction?
We should respect other users their opinion eventhough some topics/discussions are annoying from our point of view.

i really don't see why this is considered as being lame and why this is less funny than any other nerdy boc joke i've ever come across here

As far as the BoC section goes, yeah. But in all fairness, there is really nothing else to talk about in this section of the forum. Everything has been discussed.

I don't get all the hate. This post was pretty popular when I posted it on WATMM a while back. Are you people emotionally dead or something?

I already apologized for that. Aren't I allowed to lose my patience for a few days? I have manic depression, mate.

My respects bro.

It almost feels as if BoCers are destined to have mental problems...

I second that. I think some of the underlying melancholy within boc songs have a pull that people relate to (Myself included).

Probably. I'm pretty sure most of the people who post here have admitted of some kind of mental emotional issue or illness.

I'm representing chronic depression, alcoholism, and garden variety low self esteem.

On topic- My head= Explode.

Off topic- If it makes you guys feel any better, I have undiagnosed Post Dramatic Stress Disorder, so y'all aren't alone in your battles.

...and I'm a misanthrope, does that count?

But really, saying those two things only scratches the surface... If I ever become successful enough to warrant an auto-biography, I'll go into full details... maybe it'll help to future generations of "us"?

*The TL;DR explanation of "undiagnosed" is: two mental health officers who I met with while I was still in school (this would be about... 3 maybe 4 years ago) both suggested on separate occasions that I was probably suffering from it, although I never took steps to get it officially diagnosed or treated.

I'll represent a strong case of bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and fibro myalgia (which isn't mental I know, it's physical pain, but that causes my ocd and bipolar to be worse at times from being in pain all the time).
