Who will continue this great tradition?

Ground Rules:
  • A fully working microsite isn't really necessary at this stage yet. A (layered) screenshot, drawing, whatever, of your idea will do as long as it is clear how it operates. A detailed example has more chance of becoming the microsite.
  • Some sort of reference to your programming skills is needed so we're sure you are capable in building the microsite.
  • You can use the artwork/tracklist/info of the other OoT's to build the microsite or use artwork which get posted along the way in the artwork topic of OoT4. Once the artwork for OoT4 is ready we'll swap the artwork and change the theme.
  • The text shouldn't be integrated in the design. Experience has taught us that it is difficult to finetune the microsite. Once the tracklist and info is available it should be easy to modify it.
  • Prefered is an easy adjustable microsite so the final stages can be edited and tested by Aesthetics.

Instructions for Submitting:
  • DO NOT post the microsite/ideas in this topic.
  • Send your design, ideas to Image
  • Once we know which microsite to go for we'll work things out.

Deadline:
31 October 2010

Release Date:
Approximately early 2011
This time is needed to master, compile and mix, as well as finish the artwork and creating a microsite.

Good luck and thanks for making this possible!

I'm not much of a designer, but ok at developing some interactive stuf. If a designer needs a developer I'm up for it....

(If creating a microsite this way is ok with The Other and Aesthetics, reference of my programming skills can be provided if needed )
Unexpect the expected

Sure Rik, this is kind of how the microsite for OoT3 got designed and programmed. Now let's hope someone with designing skills report onself.

If there isn't one by the time it is needed I will request it in the newsblock on the mainpage.

I'm a web designer and developer by trade so I can do a website, both visually and technically. In fact I was thinking of dropping a reply here for quite some time but I was rather busy lately and never got around to it.

I hope there will be enough time till the deadline for me to piece something together. As soon as I deal away with my ongoing projects I'll get on with this and send you some ideas.

Perhaps you and rik0000 can create something together?

Fine with me, but if you know the technical stuff, it's probably easier to do it yourself. If I look at the microsites created so far, it won't cost you more than a few hours to turn the design to a site.
