the thing that sucks most about living in Japan is not being able to smoke bud on the reg. haven't smoked in almost 6 months.

It makes it allot more special though. Besides, living in Japan must be pretty fucking awesome. I always feel my music would fit better over there :lol:

Haven't heard of it, what's it do/used for?

It's used as a pain modulator and even an anti-seizure medication. I'm supposed to take 300mg twice a day, but I read somewhere that taking 3gs gets you high. It really feels like a marijuana high, but it last for hours longer, which is awesome. I take it for my fibro myalgia.

I was gliding through this thread the other day and I was really impressed by DP's sort of bitter and long comment about living in Japan. I recently moved to Germany from the US and I'm feeling that too.

I was sort of transient for about a month, couldn't find an apartment, and that really weighed on me. Anyone get worried that the best time in their life has already passed? Time is sort of a fascism, such complete control of where we can and can't go. I can look back and see exactly when I was happiest, I thought I was playing too high, so I thought I should grow up to look cool. Its taken me a few years but the results are catastrophic. I don't like myself anymore, the things I've gone, and the hindsight is just all the fucking time. And there is literally no way to break the chains and go back;

I'm going to go there and listen to Geogaddi until I transcend.

I'm not high -this very moment- but I was last night so I'm gonna reply anyway.

I know how this feels I think man, at least from the perspective of feeling like there's this desire or this sense that I should "grow up" and make some kind of intentional, butterfly-like transformation into an "adult" both in mind and in body, like, just this impulse to try and normalize myself and basically put on all the right colors so that the world sees me as another of its own, so that other adults think i'm one of their own, so that employers think I'm someone familiar and worthy of hire, so that life just starts looking different in that way. It hasn't worked. All the growth I've ever experienced in life has come on its own time and for its own reasons. Whenever I reflect on my attempts to be more "adult" or more "normal" and "marketable" and "mainstream" I'm unhappy with myself and I think I've disavowed something wonderful about myself just because I didn't think it would help me "fit in" in the world.
