My wife doesn't let me buy things around Christmas shopping time because then she won't have anything to buy me, lol.

So... Here's to Christmas!

Ha! Let me see if this rings any bells with anyone else....

1) you're told not to buy that cd/dvd/xbox game/book/shirt/etc because 'Xmas is coming!' (cue: wink, smile and clear indication that you'll find 'that' under the tree come Xmas morning)
2) all your mates buy the aforementioned item and spend the next 2 months banging on about how amazing it is and 'what? You've not got it yet?!? Seriously???'
3) you buy ALL the stuff your better half has vaguely hinted at/blatantly told you eleventy-seven times they want, because - hey - you love them and you want to get something you know they'll like.
4) Xmas morning arrives....
5) Not one of the items you've religiously NOT bought for yourself materialises at all - or worse, the one item you were kind of indifferent about DOES, but not that one you'd particularly set your heart on.
6) You end up faking interest in the after shave, magazine subscription, new jumper you don't like, etc they DID get you.
7) You learn the definition of dead-time ticking off the days until the shops open again and you can go out and buy THE SAME SODDING THING THEY TOLD YOU NOT TO BUY IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

Or is it just me...?

I picked up Alien vs Predator for the PS3. Only $20, I couldn't pass it up.

Thank you.

You have completely hit the nail on the head... and very well, might I add.

Good! I respect people who buy needs over wants! Too many assholes are on the road without insurance.

Luckily, it's getting harder and harder for people to cheat the system over here.

I wish Infinity Ward did the game instead of shitty Treyarch. I don't like the way Treyarch did the multiplayer, but I heard the campaign is great!

This is really cool. But making me buy albums a second time kinda rubs me the wrong way. Not sure if I want it.
