I find it pretty amazing that something like that could be considered controversial in this day and age. It's a private university where the students are supposed to be mature adults and they were warned about what would happen in the lecture. But I guess neurotic puritanical Americans have to have some stupid trifle to obsess about so they can show how righteous they are.
