Also, if it weren't for that goddamn black box, I'd have lost hope by now.

Well, that's the thing. If it WERE Live@ATP that would mean that we'd technically have what, 3 or 4 tracks straight away that were officially unreleased. We'd finally get Echus etc. (Actually, now I think about it, these tracknames have been pretty much kicking around on the BMI database forever).

And what if it was "BoC celebrate the 10 year anniversary of their legendary set at ATP in preperation for new live dates and the release of the new album next Autumn?" Tell me you wouldn't get excited at that :)
As amazing as that indeed would be, at this point I definitely don't want to hope for miracles.

I say we pool money together to get someone to drive around the Pentland Hills until we find the studio and politely knock on the door and ask when the album is coming out.

Haha, i've actualy cycled all over there keeping an eye out for likely spots.
I did find the Red Moss nature reserve, and the water pumping station they were photod on top of.

For the most part its just a normal mountain bike, with front suspension. My brother cobbled it together from various parts, mostly bought from a police auction. The frame is from some Muddy Fox bike, but the rest is from elsewhere. Its nice and lite though, so good for long cycles.

I should perhaps take some photos of these places for boc pages next time im up there.

^^ Yeah! Take some photos. Even if not BoC related. I hear it's a beautiful area.

I know this isn't exactly reliable and it's a pretty shitty form of speculation (what do you expect in a BoC forum), but at another forum I frequent, there's a user whose location since he's been registered has been "*city*, Scotland" (can't remember if it's Edinburgh or Pentland Hills) and when I brought up BoC in discussion, he claimed they live down the street from him, and they're usually not around very often but they have been lately. This was like 3-4 months ago. Obviously it could be simple trolling, but that's a guitar forum where most of the people there are into rock and metal, and the user himself is a regular who doesn't provoke or troll others. I'd say 2-4% actually like BoC, and maybe two or three users (myself included) are hardcore fans. I'd expect that kind of trolling in a BoC forum, but not a guitar forum.

Never know, maybe what he said was true.

On the topic of boc foods, I now realize why I liked these so much when I was a kid:

Going to that site feels a lot like the BoC track that was a Dust Devil ad with the word Dust removed.

Hey, how's about some puns on BoC?

John BOC-ke (instead of Locke... geddit?)

I also love how, in such a short span of time, this thread has exceeded the length of the official speculation thread, which ostensibly concerns the same album, not just an empty marker on an austere webpage.

I've been wondering if this thread would ever be merged with the other one, or just deleted.
