Here's some recurring synesthesia imagery that I just had to make...

Image

View at fullsize and listen with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5rzS18XozU

And imagine the trees with mouths are singing it to you, and breathing out smoke, and take the place of any of those three spots that are layered there...

Inspired by GAS of course 8)

Speaking of, hehe. Yes I do! :D most of the inspiration for my quickly made artwork comes from that nowadays. It's become really vivid, I can really lose myself in it.

I get so many ideas for artwork to make, or music videos that would represent music extremely well, but of course I'm not at the point where I have the ability to make those things very well... hopefully one day. Songs from GAS are so far the easiest to recognize imagery from because they're so immersive in a consistent atmosphere. Ahh it's so great, like going on a trip. 8)

That's so cool! I have sound to color. It's awesome. But I'm sort of losing my ability to use it for inspiration. Time to make a tripped out ambient album! lol

Hehe, you should  I get colour too, but for me it looks like a visualizer that captures every movement of every part of the music-- sometimes it looks like a jackson pollock painting and other times it looks like a void with an oscillatorscope fluttering around. It's my best friend, I can so easily escape from whatever's around me with some good music 8)

EDIT: Wow, at times it's SO magical. I'm listening to a song I used to play when I was being driven home past this pleasant plain subdivision, and it's a mixture of dejavu and nostalgia with the mental imagery. I feel like they're the same things I imagined to the music years ago. It's really amazing.

They certainly look like alot more than "exercises" from an art class. This one is just haunting.

Nice design work! It's got somewhat the feeling of a vintage computer ad out of a magazine, but updated. Might be stating the obvious.

Some great work in here! Here is an album cover commission I made earlier this year...

Image

Everything but the typesetting was done with acrylic paint and very tiny paint brushes.
I make music as Sweguno.

I can't help but notice that the logo in the bottom left looks like it says ecoPEDO.

Cool poster anyway.

I've been doing some drawings during my breaks at work. Here's some from the last two weeks

Image
^Did that one today, might build off it on my 15 minute break tomorrow... doesn't need much more I don't think.

v And this one I've been working on every so often when I feel like I'm in the mood. Usually I'm not in the mood to build on it though. I have to be careful not to ruin what I already have ;/

Thanks a ton friend. The third is my favorite too! It's basically an attempt at depicting the Old Testament story where Jacob wrestles an angel. As for the hooded figures... well have my own interpretation for what they are or symbolize or whatever. But I like to leave it ambiguous. Makes the image more striking I think.
Anyways, I'm actually thinking about expanding it into a 3-5 piece series. So maybe you'll see more like it soon!
