You know, after thinking about this months later I can say that for me it's definitely Julie and Candy. Just a song that I really feel for, I guess you could say. The way it starts with its deteriorated sound, that whole layer of noise (which sounds like horns that have been filtered many times over to me), then the way the bass just comes in underneath...just the beginning of this song is really interesting, but then by the end after the percussion, the flutes, the vocal noises in the background it forms a track that to me stands out significantly from other BoC tracks and gives me a sense of calm that has only been closely approached by other tracks, coincidentally all on Geogaddi.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

I forgot if I mentioned this in this or another thread but after all these years the only song that truly clicks with me is Corsair. I love watching 8mm films on Youtube with Corsair playing. Or think about the transcience of everything. Or stand by a river in the middle of the night and drinking beer. It's beautiful.

Notable mentions are Farewell Fire and Slow This Bird Down (they can be considered as being similar to Corsair if you think about it).

Obviously impossible to choose just one but I think The Beach at Redpoint transitioning into Opening the Mouth is a high point on Geogaddi.

That video for Amo was pretty good, it's not terribly far conceptually to the images I conjure when listening to it. For the longest time I thought about making four clips to the tracks on that album, like some sort of small film, but I don't have a decent camera nor the knowledge to film certain things, nor do I have the knowledge to do it just using archive footages.

in the amo bishop roden video i posted above, there is a video of different towers being built, and you can see a group of men working at the highest point of the building. just watching the video sends chills throughout my body. i could never imagine being up that high and not being scared to death.

Which is why this image always makes my jaw drop, because it's actually real.

In a beautiful place out, certainly my favorite from boc, I still can believe How much I can listen it without being tired of, in my top 5 synth tracks.

I know that there are more complex and deep tracks from Boc, but this one is about all the boc force, a simple but incredibly well made track were every sound is a gem. It's the kind of track that really take you somewhere else, between sun and mystery.

I increasingly feel that Twoism and In a Beautiful Place are the quintessential BoC works.

Happy Cycling currently because that beat is so basic yet so insanely awesome it annoys the hell out of me I can't ever replicate something as brilliantly simple.

it is extremely hard to pick a favorite boards song as they are all brilliant and all completely different.
