- the bathroom symbols took some time, intent and relative precision. Why anybody would spend enough time in there to place those is anybodys guess. And BoC or not, had interesting placement. More than your standard middle skool tagging. I wasn't stoned/smart enough to figure it out.
If we know for sure for sure that this is the exact location from the video, and the video did come from the BoC crew (and isn't just stock footage they ganked to use); things could have been carefully arranged and left untouched after use? I'm expecting(?) that we get a full video out of this. I'm feeling a full-on numbers-station themed music video or something of that sort. At the very least it would be a great place to shoot one. The cryptic dystopian imagery (paired with the fact that there's an antenna right nearby) is perfect. I mean it seems like a lot of effort to produce a little clip just to be shown in a shop window in another country. (Right?) I'm just being logistically hopeful that there's more. In any event,
- totally subjective, but the whole place had a "doctored vibe" for being in the middle of nowhere.
Being right outside of LA, I wouldn't be surprised if it's been re-used several times over for various film/tv/video shots.
I think it would be funny as hell if they didn't actually release anything after all this.
It really has corralled the entire BoC community, which is something special alone. I've been a fan for over a decade but I never got this involved. I know many others are experiencing the same thing.
One thing I found a bit amusing, while in brain-storm mode after the Cosecha item was revealed, looking up 'harvest' in a thesaurus to get any ideas out of it, there's an inclusive entry for 'bee' that says: "communal gathering, harvest, party, social, work party." That felt appropriate.
