Maybe it's just the fact that it's an illusion, the difference between the then an now. The same materials are being utilized, just rearranged, organized differently, governed differently. I think it might be giving the idea of how haunting the reality of modernization might be, how it's kind of bringing us one step closer to something dark, when naively we thrive in our modern bubbles of ignorance. Not sure :D

Those tracks imply some really dark and cryptic tones. I think hell interface is going to be making it's name more relevant.

"I think we can manipulate people with music", I wonder if they're planning to play with this idea at all  not that they haven't already, look at what they do to us scrambling to uncover the codes from number stations and reversed sounds :)

Anyone know when Warp/Bleep is going to be back up?

I just got to the address select option, and then it said it was offline.

I can imagine it's way over capacity or something. Literally a minute after I clicked to preorder I couldn't get back into the site, hopefully people can get through!

Well, nothing out of the ordinary really. I mean it still does fit on a regular CD (80 minutes). All of their three major albums have been in the same format as well (except Geogaddi of course was 3xLP).

Looks like ITunes might have track lengths....

Perhaps the track in the vid is "reach for the dead"?

If I had to guess on a completely baseless assumption, I'd say in an hour or two when people finally stop trying to access the site. Or maybe they'll be back in 5 minutes with more bandwidth, who knows

Woah.

Just sitting here looking at this image with Corsair playing. I feel like I get it. It shows the more barren and uninhabited land in the foreground, and it shows the cream of the crop lingering in the background. Tomorrow's harvest, the harvesting of that land into building infrastructure, evolving societies, making ground to new places and new technologies. But when you make a new harvest, you strip something down. A freshly harvested corn field is as barren as ever. And to harvest the land to build the next big city on, is to strip down what was once thriving there.

I think this album might play on the feeling of seeing your past change rapidly, get built over, making the appreciation for how things once were even stronger.

I REALLY can't wait to hear the new sound. I want to know what they're going for :) really interested.

I agree, there may well be something in that. A lot has happened since the last album. I saw the title Collapse I instantly thought of this too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAyHIOg5aHk

That's the general thought atm. Looks like it was taken for where Mythbusters is filmed apparently.

Looking very stern in this photo.
Has anyone seen this before, or is it a new one?
