This would be great! So much of their previous music had brought up those "nostalgic" moments for me (Sesame Street, etc) that the only thing left was my crippling fear, when growing up, that the world was going to end or Nuclear War (thanks Threads / The Day After!). Exciting to think about.

As someone who grew up during the cold war as the brothers did, I can relate completely, there was a sense of paranoia that would offer amazing textures

Just the title listings seems ominous
Gemini (cain and abel, etc)
Reach for the dead (reference to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Hand_(nuclear_war))
White Cyclosa (nuclear storm comes to mind)
Jacquard Causeway (not 100% sure, break of narrating scheme, personal view?)

Anyhow I could go on forever along this pathway

By the way the last one sounds phonetically like czech for Concrete death... or grammatically for seeds of the dead. (and this comes to mind: Svalbard Global Seed Vault: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Svalbard_Global_Seed_Vault)

decay indeed... man this has potential to be one giant mindtrip

Finally got my order through! So excited. :)
Did any of you guys pre-ordering get an e-mail confirmation yet? I haven't received anything so far.
Without music, life would be a mistake.

The track "Nothing is real". With a title like that, I simply cannot wait to hear it.

Jacquard Causeway should be really interesting. I'm assuming it's a reference to Albert Jacquard, who is apparently well known in connection with the concept of 'degrowth', a very BoC type concept.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Degrowth

I liked this quote on the wiki page for Jacquard

"I have no solution : I don’t intend to build the society of tomorrow. I just want to show that it must not resemble the society of today"

I haven't gotten the email confirmation either. I printscreened / pasted onto a Word document the confirmation page and my confirmation number. Keep those just to be safe. It's pretty hectic for them right now!

Any word on the Japanese version - I'm thinking extra track, and possibly a copy of the promo vids on the CD also - they always give something extra for the Japanese market, the sunny bastards!

I think that the album cover doesn't have necessarily the same visual impact/alludes to the same emotional value that covers like MHTRTC, Geogaddi, and even THC (lol weed) had.

HOWEVER I think that hearing the style of the sounds and getting a strong grip on the theme will heavily impact that view of the cover, if it reinforces it. Geogaddi is the strongest for me in this sense-- the colour scheme, kaleidoscopic feel perfectly compliments the music within the album. Campfire headphase's cover does this to me aswell.

So I guess I'll have to wait to hear the music to totally judge it, I think it should be based on how cohesively it is with the style of the music. I kind of hate when album covers have covers that are totally out of sync with the music, really sets you up for the wrong impressions.

So hard to keep up with everything.. But wow. Finally..

I'm kind of in shock. Been like a rollercoaster. Now I have to sit here and keep pressing Retry to get a pre-order?

I'm happy though. Finally. :)
