Hah, yes! So true. I keep on forgetting about the new Bibio. Quite a year

As was quoted on the speculation thread, per the Amazon notes on this (which I would think came from Warp, but if not, obviously someone who has heard it nonetheless): "Musically, the album is somehow dark yet positive, with atmospheric dissonance and mind-bending melodic creations."

How much more does that make you want to hear it for yourself?? I can't take it!!!!

Definitely agree with the people saying Cormac McCarthy, i really feel that incredibly bleak, harsh landscape looking at the track titles and cover art, whith could even be the cover of one of his books.
Also thinking about Tomorrow's World, a program about future technologies in the UK, and Silent Spring, Rachel Carson's famous book.

I've always drawn a similarity between BOC and McCarthy, simply for the fact that they will go great lengths of time with no news to the public and when they do release something, do very minimal, if any, interviews at all. They're both very secretive about their personal lives and limit communications with their fanbase.

Has anyone found the date 22 august 1996 2:57 interesting? When you go to http://cosecha-transmisiones.com/ it says Last interactive login on Thursday, 22-AUG-1996 02:57 I wonder if that means anything in particular, knowing that they use numbers as their primal source of information. Why this date? I googled it but all I got is Bill Clinton's signing Welfare Reform Act in US :?

Anyone with clues ?

"Reserve not met."

What price have you set that at?

Well he's listed it at 5 grand on discogs

can we please clarify that I did not list it for 5k? I wrote that in as the price and then wrote in the notes that 5k was arbitrary, and that I was just looking for offers

that panned out rather violently so I figured I'd just move it to ebay and let the net decide its value, the reserve is how much money I need for shipping costs

<3

Seriously though.....reserve STILL not met at 250 quid.....

What are you using to ship it, a RESURRECTED PEGASUS?

J

Looks like the reserve was £450. Thats more than I got for pretty much my entire BoC collection (including the things I sold for charity) and its only 20 seconds of audio haha :-0

Imagine if it turns out there will eventually be 100`s of these things on the market, id hate to be the buyer then lol.

The price is sky rocketing now that Pitchfork have written about it being on ebay

http://pitchfork.com/news/50543-boards- ... 2-on-ebay/

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Boards-of-Canad ... 1100905866

Still 6 days left. It is going to reach an absolutely insane price!

people seem keen to say/hope that the music in the video won't be on the album, but I quite like it. I hope it is part of a song (without the static)

You know what the music sounds like in the video? The part where the "organ" comes in sounds just like this one theme from Game of Thrones. I have no idea what it's called or where to find it, but it is the music that plays in the darker moments of the show, often times with Stanis and the Red Priestess. Anyone help me out here?
