Damn, Letchworth... not a bad idea, actually. Now you've got me thinking... maybe I'll take two days off work, pitch a tent at Mendon Ponds (a little closer to home, and my preferred tripping-wilderness) and have my first listen under the stars. It would be amazing for me, as I have, rather... intimate memories of the beach at Hundred Acre Pond.

Very cool. I'm actually from Rochester as well, but I can't picture a better place to check it out within an hour's drive. I've got Tryon Park which is practically in my back yard, but it doesn't really compare to what Letchworth has to offer.

Given that it will leak before we're anywhere near any physical formats, I doubt my first listen would be under optimum conditions. I guess I would like to get together with some other BoC fans and listen to it together. At the very least I would drive down to Mexicola's, picking up some quality beers on the way, and hear it that way.

I'm more than happy to wait until I have the vinyl before really listening to it in depth.

Funny you should mention this ^^^. Been having similar thoughts. Part of me thinks I'll get my headphones on and wander off for an few hours somewhere remote and beautiful, like I did with Campfire.

On the other hand, part of me has had an idea for some time now about a possible location I know that could just be about perfect for a listening party and campfire. Don't want to say too much yet - I need to scope out the venue again and make sure it lives up to my memories - but if it's even half as good as I remember, I might just be onto something special, if anyone fancies a trip down to Dorset?

I'll be camping in the mountains outside of Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.. The trip has been planned for a few months but it seems like a very appropriate setting. I'll probably hike around for a few days to find the best spot and time of day.

I will be driving to my favourite spot, not far away from where I live, in the North Yorkshire countryside. It's a big hill with a crag at the top overlooking Menwith Hill Surveillance Base in the distance. I really feel like this location will be absolutely perfect for this album. If you don't know what/where Menwith Hill is, I've added some photos of the location. It's a pretty fascinating/creepy place. Very inkeeping with the transmissions vibe of the album. Gonna sit there at the twilight hours with the album playing in my headphones.

That's a fact. Letchworth is truly breathtaking. I was recently up to Chimney Bluffs, which is also not a bad place to listen to the new release. I've got tons of potential locations planned out since my last post, actually. I was thinking maybe Charlotte beach if I end up listening to it with friends. I would love to wait until nightfall when the riffraff has died down, pick up a couple garbage plates and milkshakes from Harbor Hots, and just lay in the sand with Tomorrow's Harvest echoing all around us

This. I can't think of a better way to listen to BOC. I was lucky enough to visit the Pentland Hills in 2011, it was amazing! I am completely undecided on how I will listen to TH, great pointers here though.
