I was just going to thank 747, NOT because I read GL..

But because he's always supported. Thanks!

It does take a few years to really feel confident in one's own work, i'm finally nearing that peak.

Nice, can't decide if the static in the first part is a bit hard on my ears or not, it's just on the edge of turning unpleasant. found the rest of the song though to be just really pleasant, nice melody and panning.

great work, i love the sound of Rise and Shine, Mate. beautiful piano sound. thanks for the feedback, appreciate it

Thanks, glad to hear it! it's actually not a piano at all, it's a sample I recorded from the Alchemy app, Solar Waves preset for Iphone, then twisted around to different patches in Kontakt, whole song is made from that one sample and the idea is to make a whole ep out of it. Got no idea how that particular patch turned out that way but I really liked the "piano" sound of it.

I'm back.

Eyesix did some synth work on this track. And to be particular, the song was originally his, but a lot of alterations were made from his version to this one. I tried to make it as different as possible, to where the backbone of the song originally would now only be just a small piece. I built off of his song, which made this song. I don't know if that makes it collaborative or not, but since I hate specifics, I'll just say it is.

Don't have any links for you :(, but I've started going into this strange phase where I just jam into my Akai and throw down a hip-hop like jam, and then write some melodies over it. I've also started to re-learn bass guitar and putting that in tracks. Still wanting a polyphonic synth though, I have a Moog Slim Phatty and while that's great for basses, drones, n more simple melods it's monophonic, and I usually write chordal pieces. Maybe I'll save up for a Prophet or something?

happy to have finished and released my debut double album today entitled "Solar" and "Lunar", respectively. I would really like some feedback and if you're willing to listen to my work then I'm willing to listen to yours.

Mutual appreciation is the key my friends. :D

Click on the links below for free download and click "Buy Now" and you might be prompted to enter money amounts but just type in $0. I don't want a dime, I just want to get my name out there.

I recorded a cover of Bibio's Bewley In Grey. It took a while, but I think it came out okay. What do you think?

new track got an offer to get on a compilation. but honestly i'm done with the whole free-release bandcamp thing so i had to respectfully decline, even though the label is blowing up a little. anyway. i like this addition to my moniker, it is kind of a curveball.

A head-nodder... I like the synth that comes in with the beat, and how the whole thing takes a turn about a minute in with that dark B-section. Rather nice album cover shot, btw.

I kind of reached my personal maximum time for not publishing something proper. Still very much work in the progress, try to imagine it a lot better with those core elements...

Would anybody mind if I started a new thread with rules about posting, whereby you can't post a track without listening to another?

Maybe not, as there's two threads now already, but most posts are of a here's my track/ here's my album nature.

Maybe it works ok like that, I dunno. I just don't really listen to stuff that's just dropped in this thread without any other input, and as a consequence don't get to hear a whole lot :?

Speaking just for myself, when I listen to people's stuff on Soundcloud or Youtube, I tend to leave feedback on the sites themselves and similarly I prefer to get feedback on my stuff on Soundcloud itself. I return any comments I get because I like the general Soundcloud etiquette of giving and receiving feedback - I like to set aside an hour or so every week and sit and listen to everyone who's checked my stuff out and give constructive feedback as well as checking out what's new in my stream. I've discovered some amazing music that way 8)

GH Likes This.

I do similar. I love listening to and discovering new music, but do shy away from one way traffic. You know the ones : Nice track! Listen to my track blah blah blah, and that would remain the case whether or not I had my own wares to peddle (which I don't currently).
