Alive From Now or A Life Morn View ....Kinda fit's the album concept

Airflow Venom sounds cool.

Could be anything or nothing. Kinda broad.

It somehow seems innapropriate, yet due to my beliefs, my wonderful おかあさん and the love she showed me, I will be listening to this album in memory of her. Her grandchildren are Tomorrow's Harvest. (I'm sorry to be such a downer. I won't be listening until after the funeral). Life comes from death, and the world keeps turning.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Music is a wonderful way to honor those who are gone, I can completely understand.

This album in particular has made me think a lot about people I've lost in recent years. It's a very sad feeling, but beautiful too.
All of old. Nothing else ever. Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.

haha, plesselb you're on here too! I've been having fun in the BOC thread on what.cd today. thanks for the upload by the way, I'm listening to it now.

also, to the guy who said you can't make a lossless version from vinyl....what are you talking about?! of course you can. vinyl isn't some kind of lossy format...it beautiful analog.

edit, why does this forum change whatdotcd to what.cd?

Yeah I've gotta say I agree, I've been listening to the album this morning.

I mean it's no doubt a grower, but the whole middle section has just washed over me, it's all sounded a bit samey to my ears on first listen. Drifty ambiance with crackly voices.

I'll still buy it though.

After repeated listens (and finally in HQ!) I can most definitely say I love this album top to bottom. The first half has grown on me quite a bit. Jacquard Causeway is still probably my least favorite song but its not bad enough to skip over. I'm ready to love it. I'm glad to see them experiment a little bit on that one at least. So many standouts but I can't get Nothing is Real out of my head, so I need to give that the nod as my favorite track (for right now)

I am glad they took a "less is more" approach to the vignettes, where some of the ones on TCH were forgettable, Telepath and Uritual are two of my favorite tracks here.

Really liking the use of yellow and black.

It's the color of bees, which GMO seeds are killing. Interesting.

nutjob theory: tomorrow's harvest and the campfire headphase have almost the same running time, just a two second difference. i haven't got it set up but it would be pretty great if there was some sort of dark side of the moon wizard of oz thing happening with these two lps

So, I got a hold of the Japanese release and I was correct, that the earlier 320 kbps rip floating around was just a higher-quality stream recording. The official release does not have that odd song transition where the first note from each song is buried at the end of the previous song. There is proper dead air between each track. And the time for the closing track is a bit longer (3:30), but it just has a longer fade-out, nothing else.
