My iMac CMOS died long ago. But I doubt that holds any relevance, I update the day every time I turn on the computer.

If you're on OSX then why do a few of these files include comment metadata about "audio-transcoder.com", which seemingly is exclusively a Windows software? Certainly not something your iTunes could "fuck up".

Some of the other ones sound a little like the Reforestation stuff, but I have not taken a very deep look at them.WeHadNormality wrote:The last 4 tracks on the tape sound really convincing to me. Why? What would I do with that? Rather tell what kind of a fucked up ripping procedure did these files go through, or just do it properly once and for all. The only sense in the inconsistencies between the files' metadata, modified dates, bit rates and etc. is that they were hand picked from several different fake rips floating around, not ripped just now from the same cassette. I repeat, proper rip or this thread might as well be over.

You're right, properties are created when imported to a computer. However, due to the fact that they were imported directly to iTunes, then automatched to songs on R35TT that quite possibly could've been from CV1, does change properties. Also, I'm a damn obsessive fan of BoC, and I wouldn't let the community down like this. If I didn't have something I thought worth sharing, I wouldn't even bother. So, fuck you.
