Did this cover in about 2-3 days. The mastering still isn't perfect, but that bass sound is probably as close as I'll get.

Good lord, I don't know why, but that vocal sample is the funniest thing I've heard in a while. Actually made my face hurt.

Understandable hahah, it's a Furby saying "Yeah!" that I just reversed. I feel everything else is up to par though.

A cover album, featuring one track from each (primary) Boards of Canada release, as well as a remix of a new track from their forthcoming album - in celebration of the release of their first album in 8 years.

Dull, underproduced and unimaginative. :?

I don't appreciate people being so negative and critical of someone who is trying to be creative.

Even if it is bad at least whoever tried to do this was trying to do something. I can't play very well or make music that great either, yet I still enjoy doing it and see value in the creative process. So to whoever made the above cover albums keep doing what your doing cause being creative is so important. Boards of Canada inspired me to try and make music, don't let peoples negativity get you down or stop you from doing what you are doing because I appreciate people who try and be creative and a lot of other people do as well.

And to those who laugh and snigger, please keep your opinions to yourself if they are not constructive criticism. I would have expected more from BOC fans.
A clearance in a wooded area, you startle a deer, it runs into the pines. Vast turquoise lakes and icy rivers, crisp mountain air. A bald eagle soars above. The distant sound of a chainsaw. Redwood smoke

Fair enough. It's lame to slam artists when there isn't any arrogance or hubris on their part (which seems to be the case here). If you're reading this 'A God With Horns' keep on producing buddy; what you've made incited a reaction within me and, positive or negative, sometimes a reaction of any kind is indicative of art with some substance. I sincerely apologize for my nonconstructive criticism.

Wow, the synth voicing is almost spot-on! I really like the reverb you used as well.

I know it's not a cover but I wonder if it was a conscious take on IABPOITC

Not so much a cover, more of a play-along, but came across this t'other day and was hugely impressed by this guy's drumming along to Davyan Cowboy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzTBrF0eO3c (Does a mean version of XX's Intro too).
Oh, no! Not the bees! Not the bees! Aaaaahhhhh! Oh, they're in my eyes! My eyes! Aaaahhhhh! Aaaaagghhh!
