Man this thing is more and more beautiful every time I listen to it. There's about 30 minutes of drive from country into city between me and that test press pic btw...I'd feel isolated if I didn't know where the album was built.

i really enjoy tomorrows harvest. i guess the main gripe i had with it when i first heard it, and still today believe, is that the album is too much like their past work, i enjoy the music, and the direction itself is completely different. but the sounds and such werent much of a departure. i am sure most of you know what i mean.

i guess i just pictured so many different directions that the album could take during all the build up, that i over fascinated. lol.

regardless, i am happy with the new album. but its the kind of record that keeps you hungry for more.

i KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. i EXPECTED A BIT MORE OF A DIFFERENCE AS WELL. i GUESS i'M JUST SCARED THAT IF THEY DON'T SOUND TOO MUCH DIFFERENT ON THE NEXT ONE (HOPEFULLY ASSUMING THERE WILL BE ANOTHER) THAT THEY MIGHT START TO SOUND A BIT DERIVATIVE OF THEMSELVES.

edit: ok clearly I didn't realize that caps lock was on
I think I'll leave it.

That was an interesting experience. As I read the stuff in caps, I was reading it in a "stupid person" voice. Then I read that it was a mistake, and realized it wasn't really stupid when I read it a second time.

So do you look at your hands when you type?

Two monitors; one focused on this website, the other - along with my eyes - focused on the latter half of the last season of Breaking Bad.

i purposely left this alone for a few weeks,to properly listen to some other stuff(mainly r+7,what an album!),listened to it a few times again recently and i like it even more,at first i found it familiar but cold, now i find it sort of comforting, more welcoming, and liking tracks i previously could take or leave a lot more, lovin collapse, transmissiones ferox, cold earth, telepath and especially sundown, what a track! right up there with there best stuff

after really letting this sink in im stoked on it. It again, totally unique. Another near perfect concept album. Im not the hugest fanboy on boc but i dunno how many concept albums can compete with Boards big 4.. what you guys think?
In years to come will these be the best concept albums around..
They certainly take you places and have quite clear ideas behind them.

In regards to TH i dont think they're as many subliminal's as say Geogaddi but its a awesome album. I can see why people think its a little same-y but as a apocalyptic concept lp its perfect.
looking forward to some new material...

Music Has the Right to Children = Self Righteousness/Hope
Geogaddi = Belief/The Hypnotic
The Campfire Headphase = Nostalgia/Building Future
Tomorrow's Harvest = Past Mistakes/Nihilism

All in my opinion :)

tomorrows harvest is good, as well as the rest of their work, but i feel as though from beginning to end "the campfire headphase" is their most complete album.

it took until the release of tomorrow's harvest to realise that the campfire headphase is actually my favourite release from them. i thoroughly enjoy the more blissed out, and overall more positive feel to the album. tomorrow harvest just takes me to a dark place bar a few songs...

Not taking anything away from the amazing tracks from the other albums but I whole heartedly agree.
