Whoah..who..what...? Official FB page? Twitter page? Boardsofcanada.com?

Don't know yet, waiting on a reply from him…his message;

"Something mentioned on the forum and the official boc page started posting pics of turntables with a set list. ..speculation."

Ah ok, I think he mistook the TH's FB page as official or something. They've been posting pics of LP covers on a turntable. Mystery solved... :)

If they do a tour, it would be pretty fantastic if Bibio was the opening act.

If they do, I hope they sell tickets at a reasonable time and not just announce them and put them on sale out of the blue. I will not be beaten by NEETs to tickets again!

Anyone clock how much Kate Bush tickets were going for on ebay??
$1000 a ticket and people were paying.
If they ever played live (and I live in hope) I'd be heartbroken if the scalpers got their grubby paws on tickets.

I wonder about that myself. How much pent-up demand is there for live Boards beyond those who are new to them via TH? And of course excluding the (almost) 3500 users on this forum who'd turn up at a gig in the blink of an eye ;)

"Rock and folk music is to be introduced to the world's most prestigious arts festival as part of a radical shake-up announced by its new director.

[..]

The last time dates were changed at the August festival was in 1998, when the Fringe moved forward a week, leading to controversy at the time.

On modern music, Mr Linehan said: "They will probably kill me because I haven't approached them yet, and it is presumptuous, but I can tell you artists who I like: Belle and Sebastian, Mogwai, King Creosote, Wedding Present, Arab Strap, and Boards of Canada, I could go on and on and some of them don't perform live anymore."

Please let this be it. Even though the odds are like 1/10000000.
